Eligibility

To be eligible for funding, an individual's request must meet the following criteria:

• healthy lifestyle activities including individual, group and team sports, recreational and leisure activities are eligible for funding
• an application form must be completed and submitted to the Bob Gale Recreation Fund Committee c/o City of Niagara Falls
• funding can be used to cover activity registration fees, equipment costs, and transportation costs
• maximum support is for one activity
• more than one individual per family can be funded during the same period
• 100% of the monies paid to support an individual go to the direct benefit of the individual
• applicants must be residents of the City of Niagara Falls
• activities applied for should take place in the City of Niagara Falls. Exceptions may be made where a particular activity or program is not offered in Niagara Falls.

Applicants will be approved based on need, benefit, and funds available

Individuals seeking funding should ask the organization they hope to join whether they have subsidies or assistance in place before applying to the Bob Gale Recreation Fund.

Participants cannot apply for Bob Gale Recreation Funding if already registered and participating in the program.

Incomplete applications will not be considered
